During the recovery period, we did not engage in active search for a sports section for “special” children - it was generally difficult for us to adapt to a new reality. The trail-Hockey found us himself. Karim was fond of hockey since childhood, even practiced at a sports school.

And then we moved to Kazan and became the avid fans of Ak Bars. Karim knows the whole team by name, monitors the results, statistics. After the tragedy that occurred on May 11, my husband and I sought to do everything so that the son would not lose heart. They wanted to ask the Ak Bars team so that they support Karim, and began to look for options for how to arrange. Our friends Airat and Elvira Shaidullina helped, for which we are very grateful to them.

They had acquaintances in Ak Bars, through which we managed to transfer our request. The team did not refuse - Karim was invited to training. In the meantime, the son was lying in the hospital in Moscow, Ak Bars players Danis Zaripov and Artem Lukoyanov sent him a video with words of support and called. When the son was able to attend training, the athletes cordially accepted him with the ice palace in Kazan.

The news that the club supported Karim, Ak Bars shared in social networks. So Angelina found out about us-the coordinator of the trace-Hockey team. From the Ak Bars administration, she took Karim's number and invited him to try herself in a new sport.

We were very happy, but, to be honest, we had no idea what a trace-Hockey is. I think everyone still remembers what frightened we came to the first training session. But still we decided to continue to engage. They began to go to training, became close to other parents and children. We have a very warm relationship in our team: they will always ask if everything is in order, they will help, if necessary.

Such a feeling, as if the parents of “special” children live in another world where there is no evil and envy. Everything is like one big, friendly family here. Even coaches! Both Timur Basirovich and Vladimir Yuryevich are suffering from a soul for every child. They know how not only to scold and make comments, but also to support. Karim is still fond of swimming, and training began to match us.

Angelina helped to stay, who, without our knowledge, bought tickets to Sochi so that Karim got the opportunity to fly to the festival festival. We could not refuse her, and this trip completely changed us and our attitude to the trace-Hockey. I know how healthy children live, but I can’t compare the atmosphere that reigned at the festival festival. During the New Year holidays, Ak Bars Song went to the tournament in Izhevsk, called us, but that period was very difficult for us: operation, rehabilitation, home schooling ... For the New Year we wanted to leave for grandparents - to switch. We decided that this trip is more important.

This helped Karim quickly adapt to a new reality. He realized that these children are not at all different from the usual. And in some ways they are even better: they treat each other with trepidation and respect. I myself became friends with the mother of the Sultan Venus. Anyway, being among the parents of our team, I saw how their eyes burn in no matter what. Although many are much harder for ours.

And how they live is a big example for me. This personally allowed me to seriously reconsider my attitude to what happened, to realize that you can live on. Now I remember how at first Angelina convinced us: “Karim needs it. Perhaps you will understand later, but it is!
