Dmitry Shukhovtsev Biography

Introduction Hello, dear reader! My name is Dmitry Shukhovtsev, I am the general director of the business legal group of companies, whose representative offices work in Russian cities, from Kaliningrad to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. My story began with a small office in the apartment where my mother and I worked. Fifteen years later, I managed to build a huge group of companies, a leader in his industry.

Why did I write this book? Once upon a time, I promised employees that by the decade of the company I will write about its history. Why this date? And if your business stepped over this line, then you are standing something and you have something to tell. The first part of this book has been published in the year, and now, by the Letnik, its second edition is published, since in the last 5 years many interesting events have occurred.

Today, many books with various motivating names are dusting on the shelves: “How to become a millionaire”, “How to make a lot of money”, “How to open a business” and so on. As one familiar startup said, "to open a business is not difficult, I have done this ten times." I have not met a single book with the name “How not to go broke when you are a millionaire”, “How not to lose business” and so on.

After 15 years of work, seeing a lot of bankruptcies, ruin and closure of different companies, I can say with confidence that taking the top to open a business, earn money and becoming a millionaire is far from the most difficult. Really difficult - to stay upstairs and not collapse into the abyss, and if you collapse, then rise again. What is this book about?

About the history of the company, its rise, falls and new ups. About those people with whom I built the company and to whom I am immensely grateful. About the stuffed cones, about the experience, which, I hope, will help novice managers and entrepreneurs. At the end of each chapter, I was allocated a life lesson, which was made from certain events. All events and people in this book are real.

All coincidences are not random. Artistic fiction was specially excluded here, since there is nothing more interesting than life itself, as well as events and real people who fill our life with meaning. I do not like long injections, since few people read them and they are very tedious! Therefore, I start. Chapter 1. Childhood and personality formation - who do you want to become when you grow up?

The four of us lived in a meter apartment, and this was not our apartment. Mom gave me to one of the strongest schools of Chelyabinsk, the Lyceum, who had to go with a transplant by public transport, because he was far from home. To enter this educational institution, it was necessary to take a competition - six people per place. It was not easy, but they promised me for the intake of the chocolate, and this very motivated me.

The school collected a team of strong teachers, to whom I am very grateful, but it was not easy to study. To have time to make lessons, I had to get up at five in the morning. For poor grades, they expelled. Moreover, those children who studied with our three, moving to other schools, became excellent students. We were taught to think and gave very good knowledge. Mom and dad worked at the plants with engineers.

The elder brother also went to study as an engineer. But I decided to choose another way - already in childhood I decided to become a lawyer! I don’t know how this idea occurred to me at such a young age, since all the closest relatives were either engineers or doctors. Maybe it was influenced by the fact that the first two independent books at the age of seven were Detective Chase and the “History of the Russian State” for children, by the way, I love history very much and still read a lot.

When relatives and adults found out that I want to be a lawyer, many of them considered it their duty to dissuade me from this stupid, in their opinion, venture, not to show off and go to study ... I don’t remember where, but definitely not for a lawyer. The main arguments were: 1 of them and so an excess; 2 Where will you go to work later? I especially remember one conversation in the fifth class.

Our neighbor in the garden began to teach me life and explain: “Where will you get a lawyer without ties? This is impossible! And now, having listened to this “wise experience” a woman with her phrases: “This is impossible, you will not succeed,” I gave her an example of my older brother, who reached everything myself. It was not easy to object to such significant arguments, but the lady did not give up: “Yes, this is one chance from a million!

And it was a victory! The victory of a little schoolboy with a dream and a chance to a million. I also remembered the conversation with his brother Alexei when I found out what salary he gets, working as a sales manager in just in a row from tractors to electronic hours. I informed him that I also want to become a sales manager, like him. What Alexey had a conversation with me, explaining that lawyers get even more and their work is more interesting.

After these two conversations with a neighbor and an older brother who was an authority and an example for me, my desire to become a lawyer only intensified. I remember another conversation with my brother when we walked for training with sports bags.On that day, he talked about setting the goal, about what you can achieve everything you want. My brother told me that any choice should be made yourself, think with your own head.

This was probably one of the strongest motivational conversations in my life. All my school years I tried to find a way to earn money, since we were mostly studied by children of wealthy parents, but I also wanted to eat deliciously in the buffet and walking in normal clothes, and buy for myself what they had. When I was asked in adulthood where I got the motivation, answered: “Guys, when you have nothing to eat and have no normal clothes, you do not have a question of motivation at all.

And the idea that I do not want to work does not even occur to it. Need will teach everything. ” All my first business ideas and work were mainly related to transport. One of the first was the organization of car washing. Then I studied in the third grade and lived with my grandmother in the village. Not far from us there were a busy road passing along the dam, where many cars drove, and the city beach, where people came in cars to sunbathe.

I took Vanya to the companions of the village guy. We got rags and a bucket, nailed a piece of plywood to the cuttings from the shovel, wrote with green paint “Moika” and with this miracle of marketing art went in search of customers. It was not possible to find them on the road, as the cars did not stop, although we intensively waved our advertising shield to every passing.

The reason was that the stop was prohibited on the dam, as this is a regime object. But the first failure did not bother us, because there was a spare option, and we moved on to the city beach of the Shershnevsky reservoir. There in a few hours, having washed a couple of cars and earned some money, we felt like cool guys. Another business event was that I drove children from the village to the store for money for money.

Since my grandfather was flooded with my grandfather as much as I needed it, the business was a profitable. And there were enough clients who want to get to the store with a breeze. However, there were problems. Once the local punks wanted to select a moped, but it didn’t work out, since I really appreciated my asset and just was not going to give it to anyone.

And one case almost ended sadly when I, not knowing the rules of the road, was not convinced of the safety of turning to the left and flew right into the forehead of the ZIL truck.

Dmitry Shukhovtsev Biography

The large iron bumper ZIL was well remembered at the level of the head, which arose from nowhere ... I put the moped on its side, and it flew under the front of the truck. My passenger managed to jump aside, and after the moped I flew under the front bumper ZIL, having managed to cling to him with his hands. We only got off with scratches, although if we had not had time to jump, everything could end much sadder - the iron bumper ZIL was at the level of our tops, and we had no helmets.

Still, of course, was lucky that he was moving not fast and managed to stop. The driver himself was very scared, got out of the car and menacingly asked: “How are you turning? In addition to the listed business events, I was engaged in the sale of school certificates for traveling to those who no longer studied at school; handed over the bottles; He sold light advertisements, gaining business cards and trying to sell it to parents of his classmates; He helped his brother sell construction special equipment, sending faxes directly from the house after lessons and responding to separate calls; He worked on a sawmill.

In general, I tried everything that is possible, both in academic times and on the holidays. Now you can often hear that people have a problem with motivation. I didn’t have such problems then, I wanted to work and earn money, I wanted to be a cool guy - those who earn money themselves. Having ruined the school graduation, like many classmates, I was determined to enter the university.

We did not have the exam, and in order to enter the university, it was necessary to pass exams. It was important for me to enter the budget, since it is too expensive to study on a legal one, the salary of the parents is small, and my part -time jobs were very small and were enough only to purchase individual things. Three exams had to be taken: social studies, Russian and history.

In one exam, you could get a maximum of 50 points. The passing point for the budget was the first exam - social studies - I passed 44 points. Now it remained to get 39 points for each of the other two exams. After social studies, there was a Russian language, wrote an essay on the topic "My Future Profession." Since I have long decided who I want to be, I described in detail what attracts me to the work of a lawyer, how I want to protect the law, benefit people and so on.

The next day, the lists with grades were posted. There was 20! The chances of the budget were crossed out.
