For two years, almost nothing was heard about the group. Only in June, the unpredictable company ZYX commits a very strange act, releasing the maxi-sping on the composition "Riding Alone", which has already become sixth!

Two more years had to wait for the next single. True, this time they become a completely new composition “The Way I Mate”, which, in its style, is almost one hundred percent consonant with the early hits of the group. But, alas, the times of the "techno-Kantry" have long passed, and, as a result, the public for the most part remained extremely indifferent to the new work of Rednex.

And it is possible that the “brave Swedish cowboys” would have sunk into oblivion, safely replenishing the tight ranks of the “heroes of yesterday”, if the legendary Axel Breitung had not met their mighty “hawk” wing in their way. One of the most successful hitmakers of the mid -nineties did not even assume that it was for Rednex that he would be destined to write his most successful chart and commercially hit.

A very pretentious video was shot for this composition, which leading European music channels took into their rotation with great pleasure. In the year, serious changes are again taking place as part of the group. STIFF start an unsuccessful legal dispute regarding who the right to the name of the group still belongs. By virtue of its obvious secondary excitement, this song did not cause this song, and almost exactly a year later the last single Rednex - "Cotton Eye Joe" is released.
