She does not lack the mind, but supports. She, like most children who grew up in an incomplete family, does not have a model of a prosperous life.

She does not know how to behave in a difficult situation, so she listens to the dubious advice of aunts. Due to the fact that Lily is an inventor, her strangeness is akin to crazy, but a creative beginning. In the city where Lily lives, it seems, the great density of the "weapons". The heroine of Marina is strange, and the characters of varying degrees of oddity surround her in the film.

At the same time, Lily and her colleagues do not look like people not from this world - they are real “products” of the socialist era, the carriers of the established soviet norms with an amendment to the provincial lifestyle, when everything is in sight. Is the acute satire hid in the film the worst manifestations of provincialism? I myself from the province - from Bryansk, Marina lived most of my life in Saratov, we shot in Orel, so we have a completely provincial movie.

But this is not an evil mockery, but a sad smile. In general, there are many inadequate people in life. In principle, there are no normal ones. All to varying degrees with a madman. Each of us is a character. You should not consider yourself the norm in relation to others. The main “strangeness” of my heroines is that they want love. In the heart of every woman, regardless of age, hope is certainly warm.

Why did you determine Lilya to work on the poultry farm? The image of the conveyor in cutting the chickens was used in the documentary of Sergei Bukovsky, the time of “Perestroika and Glasnice” “Tomorrow is a holiday”. The metaphor of social life, the social pathos of black and white history told by the Ukrainian documentary, found not only color, but also another semantic content.

Observation of the production process is quite interesting in itself, the poultry farm is a metaphor for turning life into a bunch of waste and semi -finished products. Well, women are the same chickens. Remember the mounting joint when in the frame the legs of a close-up of the women rushing somewhere are replaced by the image of gutted chickens with torn bundles?

They are thrown into a heap of the same cut chicken carcasses resembling helpless mutilated bodies. This frame is deleted by a purely male gesture by an undisguised rudeness. But the scene still did not work out until the pillow separating partners was removed. During the filming of this episode, everyone laughed, and I lay puntes with embarrassment. It is good that in the frame there were only ours with the performer of the legs, which were supposed to jump rhythmically. We were not satisfied with the size of the shoes Danilov.Marina remembered that her nephew had the size of her leg, but then she caught on, how to go to bed with his nephew!

We do not like such things. It seems that in the directing you combine two approaches: the outfit of the form and free improvisation. Did you have to rewrite scenes during the filming? The finale is very melodramatic. Lily’s expectations were successful - she managed to meet a person close in spirit, however, not a pianist, but a taxi driver, but, noteworthy, also Boris. The narrowed with such a name was either bogged down, or bewitched to Lila's fortuneteller. Do you yourself believe in such accidents and predictions of fortunetellers? Of course, I believe in fortune telling.
