In the year, the police opened a criminal case against Pruidze: according to the prosecution, the developer of the Moscow and Gorka residential complex retreated from the project, changing the purpose of the upper technical floors. According to the investigation, the actions of the developer became an obstacle to commissioning houses, which, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, entailed the causing property damage to more than citizens for a total of 1.3 billion rubles.

In January of the year, Anzor Pruidze was arrested in June of the year of the Central District Court of Sochi sentenced Anzor Pruidze to five years in prison with a sentence in a colony of general regime. It was found guilty of particularly large fraud with the money of equity holders. The damage established by the court amounted to 1.3 billion rubles. The equity holders caused damage totaling more than millions of rubles. Also, according to representatives of the supervisory authority, Anzor Pruidze, using the forgery for construction, entered into shared participation contracts with eight persons in the construction of the Privokzalnaya shopping center. After that, he organized the direction of information on the cancellation of these transactions to the Rosreestr Terotdel.

The amount of stolen money as a result of this scam exceeded millions of rubles. The developer legalized part of the stolen funds by making transactions with an organization where he is also a director. In October, the Arbitration Court of the Krasnodar Territory recognized Anzor Pruidze as insolvent and introduced the debtor of debts with respect to the debtor. The court set the requirements for the debtor in the amount of 81 million rubles.

In April, the Khostinsky district court of Sochi sentenced Pruidze to the seven years of the colony according to the episodes of the residential complex “Tuapsinsky”, “Fazotron” and “Horizon”, where the damage was estimated at 1.3 billion rubles. In June, the Krasnodar Regional Court softened the sentence to Anzor Pruidze, reducing the sentence of two months, but in February the fourth cassation court on the proposal of the Krasnodar Territory prosecutor Sergei Tablesky canceled the decision of the appeal and sent the case for a new trial in the regional court.

As a result, the College of Criminal Cases of the Krasnodar Regional Court sentenced the penalty to coincide with the verdict of the Khostinsky district court of Sochi - seven years of colony of general regime. Anzor Pruidze was released in the summer of the year, as he left for the deadline in the pre -trial detention center during the investigation and the court. However, in June, the entrepreneur was again in custody, but already in the new case of fraud: the creditor accused him of intentional non -return of funds of 11 million rubles.
