Griboedov Biography Waltz

Travel notes of the Secretary of the Russian Embassy 3. The writer-diplomat Alexander Griboedov was a diplomat and linguist, historian and economist, musician and composer. But he considered literature the main work of his life. I love her without memory passionately, but is love enough to glorify myself? And finally, what is fame? The best teachers of that time were engaged in his education and upbringing: Encyclopedist Ivan Petrosilius, scientist Bogdan Ion, philosopher Johann Bula.

Every summer, Alexander Griboedov spent his uncle in the village of Khmelita on the family estate. He did not have time to visit the battles: his unit began to form when Napoleon was already retreating. While Russian troops liberated Europe from the French, Griboedov served in the rear - in Belarus. His mother, Anastasia Griboedov, insisted that he get a job as an official at some ministry.

However, the public service did not attract Griboedov at all, he dreamed of literature and theater. In St. Petersburg, Alexander Griboedov led a secular lifestyle: he was in two Masonic lodges, was friends with members of the southern and northern secret societies, communicated with writers and actors. To save her son from the prison, Griboedov’s mother used all her ties and arranged it as secretary of the Russian embassy in Persia.

In the year, Alexander Griboedov went to the service, on the way he described in detail his southern trip in his diary. A year later, Griboedov went on his first business trip to the Shah court in Persia, where he continued to keep travel notes. He described the events of his service in small narrative fragments - this is how the real story of the Russian captive, which Griboedov returned to his homeland from Persia, fell on the basis of the “Vagin’s story”.

Staying in this country oppressed him: he often thought about his homeland, friends and theater, dreamed of returning home. In the fall of the year, Griboedov achieved a transfer to Georgia. For several hours the author read his work to Krylov. He listened silently, and after that he said: “They will not miss this. They are superimposing over my fables. And this is much worse!

Nowadays, the empress for this play would have taken into Siberia to Siberia. ” In many ways, Krylov’s words turned out to be prophetic. At the request to put “grief from the mind” in the theater, Griboedov was refused, moreover, the comedy was forbidden to print. The play was copied by hand and secretly transferred from home to the house - literary critics counted 45 manuscript copies throughout the country.

The topical play, in which Griboedov described the struggle of revolutionary youth with an obsolete society, caused hot disputes. Some considered her a frank and revealing description of the modern high world, others - a miserable parody, which only denigrated the capital's aristocrats. Many of the conspirators were friends and relatives of Griboedov, so he himself came under suspicion of involvement in the uprising.

In January, Griboedov was arrested, but the investigation could not prove his belonging to a secret society. In September, Alexander Griboedov returned to Tiflis and continued his service: he was in diplomatic negotiations with Persia in Deakargan, conducted the correspondence of the military leader Ivan Paskevich, together they thought over military operations. In the year, Griboedov participated in the conclusion with the Persia of the Turkmanchai peace treaty that is beneficial for Russia.

The emperor awarded the writer-diplomat the official of the state adviser, the Order of St. Anna of the 2nd degree and appointed the plenipotentiary minister in Persia. Returning to the service in a new position, Griboedov stopped again in Tiflis, where he married Princess Nina Chavchavadze. They met in the year - then he gave the girl music lessons.
