Gabbasov Ramil Biography
On duty, he has to delve into many issues of both domestic and international organizations of developing martial arts. We asked Sensei, from the height of the experience gained, to evaluate the current state of affairs in the kyokushin. What is the main task now facing people around the world developing kyokushinkai? How it does not sound corny, but there is time to scatter stones, and there is time to collect them.
Apparently, the need to be together has come up now. If you say differently-a fist is a symbol. Each organization will be weak alone, and only all together, being considered with the opinions of others, can you overcome any obstacles. In this case, it is necessary to sincerely respect and hear each other. And then any goal can be achieved. Therefore, answering the question briefly - the main task is to unite for further development.
Why was the creation of such an organization Kiokusinkai as Kwu? Kwu is essentially an umbrella organization with quite clear and transparent goals and objectives, with democratic principles of management. It is such an organization that all its participants are needed for international recognition of kyokusinkai as a sport in the framework of international sports institutions. Including a multi -sports international organization, a sportakcord, which carries out such a recognition, opening the way to participate in the World Games of Martial Arts Combat Games.
Which is our paramount task at the current stage. What will Kiokusinkai have to adherent in the European Championship under the auspices of Kwu? I think that the word will not give very appropriate to karate, since Kiokushin does not give something, but brings up certain qualities in a person. And we are glad that the first tournament among men will be held precisely in the absolute category, since this is Kyokushin's business card.
As we all know, this is the most difficult discipline in Kyokushin. This idea was supported by all leaders of international organizations - Kwu members. And this is the first practical step towards the real association.
What can you say about Demarsh Matsui, who first agreed to participate athletes of his international organization in the championship, and then refused? We live in the Month century in a fairly democratic world and an opinion or decision not to participate in the championship by a respected international organization that probably has the reasons for such a decision, we respect.
Otherwise, we would contradict our own principles, which are mentioned above. But we must understand that over time, any opinion can change. Are you as a person who has long occupied one of the leading roles in the Russian branch of IKO, how do you evaluate the integrity and correctness of the IKO path after the death of Sosai? And does Russia have any influence on this path?
To evaluate the integrity and correctness of the path, in my opinion, objectively to a person is beyond the power, since he is subjective a priori. Only time can answer this question, and only in this case it will be obvious. We can make mistakes as people, and this is normal. It is much more difficult - to recognize the error and even more so to fix it. On the duty of my work, I am in different countries and meet with various representatives of martial arts.
And the first thing people tell me when meeting is Kyokushin is the Best! However, no one is interested in organizational affiliation. All existing kyokushinkai organizations in the world are “children of one father” - Masutatsu Oyama. And, leaving his life, he left a true testament to all his followers, in which Kyokushin's principles are laid. This is Dodze-kun.
Coming to Karate, each of us tries to educate these principles in ourselves. And most importantly, what the Mas Oyama always spoke about is respect for the elders. And this is an integral part of any culture. However, Japanese culture and mentality are very different from the European and American mentality. It is sometimes difficult for us to understand each other. But there are universal values, such as the veneration of parents, mutual respect, education of the spirit.
And I believe, since Russia is between Europe and Asia, we can understand both of them. Patience and understanding are important here. What is called tolerance. How difficult was the decision to abandon the Branch contract and leave IKO? And what prompted this? In my work today in RSBI, it is very important to hear different opinions and take into account various points of view.
But, being a brranch chiff, I had to defend only the interests of IKO. This would obviously conflict with the interests of these structures. Therefore, it was reasonable to make such a decision. Indeed, today it is necessary to delve into the problems of other types of martial arts: kickboxing, taekwondo, aikido, etc. It was for this that RSBI was created. But Kiokushin still occupies an important place in my life.
Former Kiokushinists feel good in professional kickbox grid. Is a harmonious system for the transition of fighters from Kiokushin to professionals possible? Do Kyokushin and fighters need it? In my opinion, this is a good practice for those who want to try themselves on a new site. But for this you need to very seriously prepare, understand the intricacies, go - and win.
In this case, it is necessary to be aware of all responsibility. In front of Kyokushin, coach, his friends on tatami. Since childhood, I have been taught one simple folk wisdom. Leaving your house, take care of the honor of your home. Leaving your street - take care of the honor of this street, leaving your city - the honor of the city, leaving the country - the honor of the country.
Also with kyokushin. I am pleased that in kickboxing, K-1, in other versions of martial arts, favorites appear-pupils of Kyokushin. This is cool! But I do not really like it when the Kyokushin masters are trying to perform “on the warm -up” in events of other types of martial arts or shows. Even for money. Many regard Kyokushin’s chances to enter the Olympic movement, like insignificant.
Worthy sports are beating for years at the closed Olympic door and cannot get there. What special steps do kyokushinka now to do what the rest will never succeed? It does not work out for someone who really does not believe in it. Further, it is necessary to achieve the recognition of the sportscup, and this is a great serious work. And here it is very important to act coordinated, to have a command and will.
We have all this. Well, then - we must join the battle, and there, as they say, "time will tell." And who, like not Kyokushin, is able to solve such a problem. That is why our slogan today is the words “Time to be together!
