At the same time, the number of budget places in the specialty "Dentistry" over the past 5 years has decreased, and also 1.5 times.

The demand for this specialty among applicants is satisfied by increasing the number of paid places. And which of them are the highest passing points? Every year, the competition for these specialties is from 10 to 40 people per place, and passing points in the sum of points for three general subjects a year were “therapeutic business”, “pediatrics” and “dentistry”. Are future doctors ready to work on modern equipment today?

To work at the modern level, the performance of surgical interventions, complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, additional training is necessary, including in the residency. This is a global practice. What is the geography of the export of our medical education today? Has the number of foreign students increased today? In total, students from 41 countries are studying.

We believe that the path of creating educational scientific and production complexes that could attract investments is promising to promote the promotion of innovative technologies. Recently in Dagestan, a forum of the Caspian states was held, at which the most important problems of the region were discussed. In our opinion, participation in such forums allows you to establish intra- and interstate relations between universities, develop and implement joint projects, will contribute to the development of universities, and increase the level of education.

Is it effective in solving the problem of shortage of medical personnel? This system is somewhat similar to the system of personnel distribution that existed in the Soviet period after graduation. It has both positive aspects and negative. In our opinion, one of the shortcomings of the targeted admission system for training was the lack of a competition in the distribution of targeted places.

Next year, an acceptance of training will be carried out in accordance with the new order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, which involves the competition and enrollment of places within the target quota at the university. The target training agreement will be concluded only after enrollment. In our opinion, this will create an acceptable competition for targeted places and improve the quality of selection.

Thanks to the USE, the opportunity to study in the most prestigious, including capital's universities in Russia were received by young people from the province.

For them, this became a social elevator, opened the way to a qualitatively new level of education. Even the negative phenomena that were around the exam in the recent past could not discredit this institution.
