It is difficult to be a chess professional, these are daily many hours of training. Yes, I am going to my goal, but I can dilute it with something else. Not so long ago she took part in the election campaign in Buryatia. I decided that at 32 I would become a deputy of the People’s Khural. I think that I can make some kind of contribution to the development of the republic, let it be political activity or public.

If possible, I take part in public life. This gives me a good experience, and I hope it benefits others. Are you not afraid of your truly magnificent image to somehow ruin this? I know many, for example, Vyacheslav Irildeev, deputy of the People’s Khural, chairman of the Committee on Economic Development. I know him personally, and I understand that this person really made himself and remains true to himself.

And I say this is not at all because he is also the president of the Buryatia chess Federation. Simply, he is one of those who does not throw words into the wind. I think I said nothing new. I lived in Moscow for six months. It was immediately after I graduated from the university. I have not seen joyful prospects. I completed my minimum task, became an international grandmaster. And then, some questions arose, I had to return.

But still, all chess, and not only, life happens in the West. Now financing has increased, the results should go. Not so long ago, our first grandmaster Anton Shomoev went to the superfinals of the Russian Championship, this is a great success. This year, fees were held for talented chess players with coaches of the Russian women's team, very strong grandmasters Sergey Rublevsky and Yuri Yakovich.

The second grandmaster of our republic Bator Sambuev is now playing for the Canadian national team. We are focusing on mass, although the Buryat is considered a smart and playing nation ... - The problem is that we have only one coach that can take the child to a high level - Timur Ivanov.
