Why the group is called that is how the name “Aria” chose Holstinin: it seemed to him that the word that many causes associations with the opera would be perfectly contrasting with the group’s repertoire. Officially, “Aria” was born on October 31 - on this day the musicians graduated from work on the debut album “Mania of Greatness”.

They could reason like this: “In the sense of you are inspired by the English groups Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Black Sabbath and expect that we will support you? However, the cause of conflicts between the participants was not this, but creative disagreements. In the winter of the year, Andrei Bolshakov, Alik Granovsky, Igor Molchanov and Kirill Pokrovsky make his colleagues an unusual New Year's gift: they announce that they leave the “aria” and create their own group “Master”.

Only Vladimir Kholstinin and Valery Kipelov remained, who, incidentally, changed his mind at the very last moment. Basist Vitaly Dubinin, who left Aria in the name of education, drummer Maxim Udalov and guitarist Sergey Mavrin, is invited to their places. The first two play in Aria to this day, the latter has its own project. Andrei Bolshakov was the author of many Hits of Aria, so the group began to work on the next album, knowing that several new masterpieces should be recorded without fail.

The album "Hero of the asphalt" of the year turned out to be: entirely consisting of what later became the classic of their repertoire. In difficult times for the country, musicians, like other Russians, were faced with financial problems, which was why they were forced to look for additional earnings. Valery Kipelov found him in the “Master” group - remember, collected by former participants in Aria?

Dubinin and Kholstin did not understand this, they decided that the frontman had left them for good, and began to look for a replacement for him. Sergei Mavrin did not want to play in such a group - there is no valera, no music - and also left. Kipelov did not understand anything, but for the sake of the principle, he was still offended. The team manager was sure that without Kipelov, “Aria” would not boil, and reconciled everyone.

Instead of Mavrin, Sergey Terentyev was taken to the group. Everything was again, if not great, then at least tolerant. It would seem what else is needed for happiness? As it turned out, Valery Kipelov did not have enough time for himself: in M ​​he asked his colleagues in the group to take a break for solo work, but they refused. Dipling the details worthy of the most viral talk shows, the team’s frontman decided to leave, this time in all seriousness.

Together with him, Sergey Terentyev also went to the Kipelov project. In m he was also asked to exit; He himself, however, did not understand why. The founding fathers of Kholstinin and Dubinin needed a vocalist of a “somewhat different plan”-since such a thing, then, of course, you can’t write anything.Instead, Mikhail Zhitnyakov was taken, a young and promising musician was born in M ​​and became the youngest participant in the history of the group.
