Kondakov EMERCOM Biography
Yuri Kondakov, a locksmith of the East Siberian Center for Metrology, in a difficult test, flashed an invisible steel of his character on a everyday background. Life and fate. Their vicissitudes are inaccessible, often we do not realize that only one wrong step can be the last, fatal - and then everything: nothingness ... and the happiness of the one with whom in difficult times, “behind the brink of the deadly circle” will be a strong spirit, a reliable and indifferent person.
As they say in such cases, on that frosty, bummer day, nothing portended trouble and really: on January 4, men after the New Year holidays took their souls on fishing in the area of the SOR near Baikal. A native of Nizhneangarsk, a locksmith of the East Siberian Metrology Center, Yuri Kondakov, in just a few hours managed to catch an almost complete bag of fish. The perch pecked just the entrance, just have time to remove the next bending red -handed handsome man from the hook and again throw the tackle into the hole.
Closer to noon past him, daring a whirlwind of snow dust, the red “Niva” rushed to Baikal. Yuri still had a thought: and the ice is unstable there, where are you brothers? But then he reassured himself: maybe people just went to the shore to admire the sea spaces. After some time, when the rumble of surrounding motorized workers is a little verse, few people are already breaking through the holes of a grandfather's foot or a manual ice discovery, Yuri heard some obvious cries from afar.
He took off his fur hat, listened - and dismantled: this is a signal of trouble. Just from the side where the Red Niva recently went. Without hesitation for a second, Yuri grabbed a tackle in an armful, threw a catch into the body of his pickupa-healer and rushed along the trail of the car. On the shore, he saw a woman who screamed something inconsistently and showed her hands towards the sea.
And there almost nothing to see - the snowstorm covered the water surface with snow veil. From the explanations of the involuntary witness of the emergency, the following became clear: the “Niva” went on the ice in the open sea, failed and sank. One of the fishermen got out of it on an ice floe, but now the wind carries him away from the shore. Without hesitation, Yuri darted to the fishing wintering, located here, on the island of Millionnaya.
There should be a boat - he was firmly confident in this, because from the infancy he was fishing in the litter and in Lake Baikal, he knew all the secluded and catchy places chosen by his countrymen. Well, thank God, it is: on the shore, under the snow boost, was a fishing boat. Somewhere nearby, judging by the traces in the snow, the owner should be. - he shouted: - Who is here, men, respond ...
Vladimir Ketrov responded and came up and came up - a friend of Yuri, a local man, a resident of the village of Baikal. He understood the very seriousness of the situation and suggested:-You, Yur, run back, wait for us there, in place, and now we will pick up the boat to my “Niva” with the guys-and in an instant there ... When our hero returned to the Baikal coast, ice floes with a grief of fishing was no longer visible.
In anticipation of his “reinforcement”, he called the cellular Severobaikal rescuers and announced the emergency. Before lowering the boat on the water, the far -sighted Yuri agreed with the owner of the approaching jeep so that he would turn on the headlights: in such weather and in the stormy sea, it was no wonder to lose sight of the shore, and then - write disappeared. For a long time they rowed with Ketrov, two hours, if not more.
The search did not bring results. But in the water, a fur jacket, swollen with a bubble, appeared in the water - at first they thought that it was a drowned man. Meanwhile, the wind was stronger, and the frost was running out for thirty. They still circled, searched - no, nothing is visible on the water. They decided to return, because they themselves could take away the storm wind in the sea, besides, the distant light of the “beacon” on the shore already began to disappear from sight in a snow -like veil.
On the way back, they were lucky: right on the course, they saw a barely living man standing on an ice floe in an icy overalls, a frozen cell phone was visible in his right hand. With difficulty, he went to the edge of the ice and Yuri and Vladimir dragged the sea wanderer into the boat. Yuri tried to rub out, and the hands of the rescued - strangled from frost, as stone, no sense.
Then he took off his warm jacket, wrapped it with her poor fellow and took up the lobes-against the wind together, everything is easier to row. They melted forces, now and then the oar fell from the left Ulcino, but they, overcoming wild fatigue, moved forward. The “beacon” on the shore is already clearly visible, now the rumble of the MFS boat, who was coming towards them, is breaking through the silence ...
In general, the men were handed over to them, we would call it citizen F. as it turned out later, in that red “Niva” who had gone to the bottom of Lake Baikal, there were two more brother F., unfortunately, they could not be saved. Recently, the head of the administration of the North Baikal district, Igor Pukharev, in a festive atmosphere, warmly and cordially thanked Yuri Kondakov and Vladimir Ketrov for the manifested courage and heroism when saving a drowning man, handed them the diplomas and cash prizes.
What else can you tell about Kondakov? An ordinary Bamovets, a reliable man. There are many of them. After the end of the Ulan-Ude technical school, Electric Superior Yuri Kondakov has been working on railway transport for 28 years-he is engaged in the repair and verification of devices in the locomotive depot Severobaikalsk. The head of the North -Baikal section of the VSCM Vyacheslav Andreev warmly speaks of his subordinate: - Yuri Innokentievich - a good, conscientious, responsible worker, a real professional, he generously shares his rich experience with youth.
Holds his word tightly. Never and never let you down. And life from time to time requires a railwayman to manifest a steel nature. So in the North-Baikal unit of the Baikal search and rescue detachment, we were explained to us: the cause of many emergencies similar to the aforementioned is excessive drinking and neglect of the safety regulations on reservoirs.
The situation in Lake Baikal is extremely unstable, and therefore, lovers of spring forgone fishing must observe all precautions. And if someone “rolled” a glass or two, then it is best to stay at home-watch fishing on TV ... Then, January 4, analyzing the catch, Yuri's wife Elena Mikhailovna asked: “Something, dear, I got a little perches today.” And inadvertently he upset his wife: after all, he himself could drown!
But she calmed down:-Still, you are well done, I am proud of you. Author: Sergey Rinchinov.
