Biography of Boris Pusagin

Svetlana Sevastyanova, Photo: Yuri Meremkulov Boris Namsyagin - Honored Veteran of the gas industry, he worked in the industry for almost fifty years the first flight. And Boris Sergeyevich’s first experience, in one of your interviews, you said that the first dispatch shift in Gazprom took up on April 12, on the day of the first flight of a person into space. You, then just finished the school, who dreamed of becoming in the light of these significant historical events?

At school, I was perfectly given both humanitarian and accurate sciences. Moreover, it is curious that in our class, almost all teachers were men, many of them went through the Great Patriotic War, only women taught geography and botany. In the graduation class, a physicist with a mathematician persistently convinced me that it was necessary to enter a technical university, and the RUSSISSISS and the historian, in turn, were advised to choose the humanitarian institution.

As a result, I entered the Ufa Oil Institute for the specialty “Design and operation of gas -nefts, gas storages and oil depots”. It was a modern university, well equipped at that time. I studied successfully, received an increased scholarship, which was half the salary of my mother, who worked as an accountant. At the end of the institute, I was persuaded to stay at our department as a younger teacher.

I even agreed and worked for some time, but in the end I realized that I was not too interesting and went to Central Asia to build a gas pipeline. I, like many young people from all over the USSR, attracted romance there, the opportunity to take part in this grandiose project, to test myself. Thus began my long labor path in Gazprom. Vyakhirev said: “Lead” and after Central Asia, where I worked from for a year, I, as a soldier, went to serve by order, where the leadership would appoint: he worked on the linear part for many years, and also was responsible for the operation of compressor stations.

From the year, he was the deputy general director of Mostransgaz. Once I was unexpectedly called by Ram Ivanovich Vyakhirev and said: “You have already worked so much in different regions that everyone knows you well everywhere, and you are well versed in your business, so from tomorrow you will lead the central production and dispatch department.” That is, you were literally confronted with a fact, not even leaving time for thought?

So it was. But I am such a person: if they set the task in front of me, I undertake to solve it immediately, trying to make maximum efforts in order to fulfill the assigned work. When he came to the Central Department Store in the year, it was transformed into the central production and dispatch department of Gazprom OJSC and remains in this capacity today, the old guard was mainly worked there, many were going to a well-deserved rest and the team was required to update.

And I began to invite experienced specialists from subsidiaries of Saratov, Orenburg, New Urengoy. Vyakhirev supported me and helped a lot then in resolving the apartment issues of employees. What are they? How and in what, in your opinion, will the dispatch control in Gazprom be improved further? I believe that it will be improved in accordance with the development of technology in this area.

At one time, the dispatching center of the CPPD was equipped with several contracted firms, installed the most modern equipment: on a huge electronic screen on the street. Nummetkina, 16 today you can see in detail the entire track. As a rule, six people work in the shift, each is responsible for a certain direction: one for the linear part, the other for export, the third for gas consumption in Russia, etc.

The phones of dispatchers are usually included both day and night. I myself live just in the house opposite the main office of PJSC, so in the case of any controversial situations, in a matter of minutes I found myself in the workplace. Of course, a lot of changes have occurred from the year. We keep up with the times and today with the main central remote control of the CPDD, if necessary, you can immediately contact any compressor in the country.

In your opinion, how important the human factor will remain in the dispatching business, given such a high level of automation and technical support of the dispatch support, what do we see today? No matter how technology develops, it seems to me that you can’t do without people. If there is an accident or some malfunctions on the gas pipeline, decisions must be made personally and promptly-here and now.

And only a person is able to carefully evaluate all the risks, switch the flow to another thread, for example. This is a very difficult decision -making mechanism, and although we have automation everywhere, without a person in such a situation, nowhere. It is the dispatcher who always sets the regime and instruments and people in the field. He is the chief commander, without him, so that the decision was and remains with him.

The advice to young engineers: “Do not hold on to the“ mother’s skirt ” - now we are probably reading a large army of shift personnel of the enterprise. What advice could you give young engineers? I always tell the young: do not hold on to your mother’s skirt, do not hold on to comfort. In order to find out production, you need to go to the wilderness, to distant difficult areas. Only there it is worth learning to make decisions in difficult situations.

And after such a school of life, you can go to work in the capital. Such an experience tempers and brings up character.

Biography of Boris Pusagin

And where did the day of the main dispatcher PJSC Gazprom began? I worked at my post for more than twenty years and every morning of my morning began with a report to the leadership. Children or grandchildren followed your footsteps, work in the gas industry? I am proud of my grandson Denis Nowagin. He graduated from the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after I. Gubkin, then he went to ask him to be taken into the army.

He was determined in the marine infantry, served in Kaliningrad, and so well that he took part in the Victory Parade on Red Square dedicated to the Flight of the Great Victory. Upon his return from the army, the grandson worked for some time in Moscow, but he got bored and went on the highway. Today he works in Gazprom Transgaz Yugorsk, is engaged in issues related to ecology, often travels on business trips, and is completely happy.

From the mammoth to the diver, Boris Sergeevich, you visited excursions at the Gazprom Transgaz Surgut Museum. Given that they themselves worked in Gazprom for more than 40 years and almost everything about him know whether you have met exhibits that surprised you? Probably, these are the mammoth’s teeth, I immediately identified them than surprised, in turn, the guide. According to her, not every visitor can immediately guess what it is.

Of course, such exhibits in corporate museums are rare. As well as the diving costumes of the Soviet period are quite bulky. So at the time when they were used, strong guys were accepted into the ranks of divers, since not everyone was able to wear equipment weighing almost 30 kilograms. But in general, I would note that such corporate museums should be at each subsidiary of the unit, because it is here that young specialists can familiarize themselves with the history of enterprises in detail, learn a lot of interesting things.

The north is a special story and what could you say about our enterprise? Probably, over the years of work, it happened to meet with Surgut gas workers more than once? The northern subsidiaries of Gazprom PJSC are, of course, a special story, a special specificity. And, of course, hardened people, professionals work here. I was personally familiar with Leonard Rafikov, I know Yuri Vazhenin, Igor Ivanov, on this visit to Surgut, I met with today's general director of the company Oleg Vakhovsky.

It is remarkable that, despite all his employment, so much attention will be paid to the solution of social issues and the popularization of sports. The championships of Russia and the world in billiard sports are a vivid example of this. By the way, how did billiards appear in your life? From my youth I was fond of physical education and sports, but I took up billiards already in adulthood, already in Moscow.

Then a federation was created in which Gazprom PJSC became a general partner and I was offered to become the chairman of the trusteeship. So now I continue to solve all kinds of organizational problems, this time the arrival of the delegation of the Republic of Belarus for competitions was in question - they could not find money for a trip. But in the end, everything turned out successfully.

It is also worth adding that once a year the billiard sport federation is holding a tournament for the Cup of Alexei Miller, where I head the organizational committee. These are also interesting competitions in which more than a hundred representatives from all subsidiaries of Gazprom participate. So billiards continue to occupy a significant place in my life.
